Tonight at 9:01 p.m. PST/ 12:01 p.m. EST there will be a frenzy going on on Facebook!
If you haven't heard yet, Facebook is offering vanity url's to it's users, so instead of your profile url being http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=1047166675&ref=profile , it will be www.facebook.com/CourtneyVelasquez. Well, that's if you get there fast enough to grab your name before someone with the same name grabs it first. Yikes!
It's first come, first served for Facebook's 225 million users — unless you happen to be a Facebook employee, a journalist who regularly covers Facebook or have some other sort of pull.
