The Season For Buying Electronics

If it wasn't you, it was someone in your family that asked for an electronic of some sort this holiday season. And the shopping deals were out the door fabulous!

We kicked ourselves for not buying the Wii because we did research to compare shopping prices at more that one retailer and saw the game system selling for $199 with a $50 gift card to use on a later purchase. We failed to get one during the holidays and will have to wait until another major holiday to get a great deal...if we're lucky!

The Kindle was huge this holiday with Kindle books outselling real books on Christmas. That tells a lot about the future of electronics taking over just about every aspect of our life as we know it. From robot-like vacuum cleaners, to digital books to cars that practically drive themselves, the digital world is moving at a fast pace. I'm just wondering what they are going to come up with that has to do with a freezer. Maybe they will defrost the food when you are ready to cook it with the push of a button...that would be cool!

The future is going to be an interesting place!
